You have a keen eye for detail and give helpful, specific, and actionable advice. I’m often surprised how quickly you grasp the context and provide ideas on design directions to explore. You practice active listening, and are always open to discussion on what could work best for the use case we are solving for.

Thank you for your continued exploration and innovation to help solve the problem of data source findability. You have excelled at driving this forward through collaboration both internally and with other Workday teams and through learning new skills which you have educated the wider team with.

Thanks for going above and beyond working on the Gartner Magic Quadrant presentation screens. You delivered in your area and offered support in a timely and thoughtful manner while simultaneously creating and maintaining an extensive Gartner pattern library. Your leadership helped ensure that the designs stayed consisted across teams.

Thank you so much for your EXCELLENT Figma prototype demo during Experience Summit this year! It was so helpful to reference your workshop and Figma file to build a realistic Search experience. I'm trying to ensure my prototype feels as real as possible for an expert review and it was great to see it come to life! Thank you again, Michael!

Michael, it has been a great experience working with you on Composite UX project. Michael is simply magnetic. From our early collaborations when he was on the PT team to how he leads the development of the Analytics UX components, his energy was something you felt compelled to (try and) match.

Michael shows a comfort in most things he does, from navigating Figma, public speaking, or singing while playing the piano. It's easy to over look the effort he puts into it. He's a wonderful teammate and a wonderful leader.

Michael was my mentor in the UX mentorship program and has now been a teammate for the past six months. During this time, he's provided immense support in the ways of design critique and advice about navigating interpersonal relationships. Michael is earnest and positive, and I enjoyed having his energy bleed onto me when we approached challenging problems together and I was feeling stuck. Michael listens carefully and makes sure he's answering the right question, and I have always appreciated his constant check-ins to make sure we're on the right track.

Today we had a strategic team discussion on how we should rebuild the tile system for Livepages. Michael was able to pull together all the different pieces and voices in the room, and move us collectively forward in a positive direction. When someone in the room said, "We will need to reconvene," Michael summarized our conversation thus far so coherently that everyone agreed that we had enough to move forward (saving Workmates tremendous time and effort)! Thanks Michael :)

I was in the same round of new hires with Michael and collaborated with hiim on several design initiatives throughout the years. He's always willing to roll up his sleeves and go deep on a problem to help you out and celebrates others' successes. He's provided valuable advice and guidance in design and non-design related topics and pushed me to be a better designer. I really appreciate his perspective, knowledge and experience.

Really appreciate the time and effort Michael made toward the UX mentoring program. I was privileged to be adopted by Michael as a mentee and have learned so much from him over the last several months. His experience in product design have helped guide my team and I through some unique situations. Overall a wonderful person to learn from and I'd choose Michael again or would recommend him wholeheartedly if a similar opportunity arise.
